Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic
Posted 01-April-2020 14:00

Following the recent government guidelines, our priority will be to provide on site services to any institution or business that is classified as critical, necessary and relevant.

The latest advice (below) states that we can continue to carry out repairs.  However, if you do not fall in the above category, we will only be attending if it is deemed absolutely necessary.  We have made this decision in order to protect our employees and customers.  We are still available and will endeavour to resolve any issues by telephone in the first instance.

We thank you all for your understanding, patience and continued support.

  • Work carried out in people’s homes, for example by tradespeople carrying out repairs, can continue, provided that the tradesperson is well and has no symptoms.
  • Again, it will be important to ensure that Public Health England guidelines, including maintaining a 2 metre distance from any household occupants, are followed to ensure everyone’s safety.
  • No work should be carried out in any household which is isolating or where an individual is being shielded, unless it is to remedy a direct risk to the safety of the household, such as emergency plumbing or repairs, and where the tradesperson is willing to do so. In such cases, Public Health England can provide advice to tradespeople and households.
  • No work should be carried out by a tradesperson who has coronavirus symptoms, however mild.
